My personal knowledge system after six months

I went back to writing. After this whole new harness mechanism of Claude Code, which has been excellent since December 2025, I got excited about picking the blog up again.

I started reading a lot of those posts about second brains, which weren’t news anymore, but now, with this agentic coding mechanism, it gets much easier to keep a structured knowledge base in markdown or some other format, associate ideas and connect all this acquired knowledge and notes.

Anyway, after all that I was still impressed by Karpathy’s post about these mini wikis with the LLM (I wrote a note (in Portuguese) and a post about it) and created an exaggeratedly elaborate solution, with node mechanisms and visualizers to understand what I was thinking.

Well, after all this time, what became much more interesting and useful for me is being able to take quick notes like this one, by audio, at the moment I have the insight and the experience.

And currently I have been publishing almost all of the notes I make on my Telegram bot, but I could also keep many of them private.

After a while, I notice the subjects start to converge: I watch a movie, read a book, an article, have a conversation, record a podcast etc., and it relates to subjects from that same month or from some time before. Given that I have been taking these notes, it gets easier to connect them and see the link, obviously with the help of the agentic tools.

Now I am in a much more pragmatic use, making these small texts and, after digesting them over time and hearing criticism and suggestions, I manage to create my posts.

My pipeline got leaner and I basically publish almost everything I think and write down. That forces me to polish what I am studying, instead of just throwing one more link, one more article, onto an endless list of content. It is much better than asking an LLM for a summary.

That is why, right now, my site is basically split into notes, which are streams of consciousness where I have to make small edits after this audio I am recording. Over time I polish the notes into bigger articles, which I call posts, well worked and structured, with more references.

Update: I now also have in my archive a sort of back-of-the-book index (in Portuguese) of concepts, people and works cited in the notes and posts. And I also created a graph of how these subjects connect (in Portuguese).
